My name is Jordan. I just want to say that i looked up the greek word for "scourgeth" for the pagasse Hebrews 12:6.This pagasse is talking about God disciplining us. Well the greek word for scourgeth is "to flog." And what does flog mean... TO BEAT SEVERELY. So much for that lovign discipline. If we are going by the bible we must not make our own conclusions.
