		<description>Thanks Bill.  I do the same thing in airports.  I loaned my cell phone to a soldier who was struggling with a pay phone in the Dallas airport, one of two transfer points for the military coming back from overseas.   I am very happy it is like it is now than when I was serving in the 70-80&#039;s.  Back then we were instructed not to wear our uniforms off base and especially in airports to prevent negative encounters.  While I was never spit on while serving (good thing for me and them), it wasn&#039;t that uncommon for vets returning from a different overseas war.   Times have changed, unlike then I believe for the most part the American people separate the soldiers from their beliefs.</description>

		<description>Well said, Bill, and always relevant!  I volunteer with the local chapter of Honor Flight, the group that flies WWII vets to Washington DC to see their memorial -- free of charge.  Our members continue to encounter vets whose service and sacrifice were never previously recognized.</description>
