I forgot to comment about that book, I Love To Tell The Story. What a treasure you have there. Is he going to offer that book at his website?

I loved all you shared here - I couldn't help but think of Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart." Serving the Lord is such an incredible privilege - seeing lives changed by Him is wondrous and nothing compares to watching Him at work. I really caught that picture in all that you wrote Bill - what a blessing to read your story. I pray that thousands will read it and be compelled to draw near to God, know Him, love Him, and serve Him. I always think of Corrie ten Boom who ministered well into her 80's. I think Charles Stanley is such a great example - he is writing books, publishing amazing photography, and ministering to thousands, and he just turned 80. So for all of us, there is no retirement in the kingdom of God, and the best is yet to come.

Wow, nice story Bill! Thank you SO much for sharing it. My challenges aren't quite the same as what you faced (I will bore you with them some day if you'd like), but the answer is the same. Believe in and trust our loving God, who through his son Jesus, sacrificed for us to be able to live through our mistakes. I'm 52 and just figuring this out. The Lords been there for me, I was just too full of me to hear. Thanks for the inspiration!

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow!
