If anyone had walked up to me in the last two days band said, you’ve got it made, running workshops! I might have slapped them up side the head, o.k. I wouldn’t but up at 2:45 a.m. and back into bed around 10:30 p.m. four four straight days!!!!!  The Palouse his beautiful, but this was my 8ht our ninth trip there, and probably my last.  I love the region and the people and working with Jack is a delight, noir to mention Pete and the Top Notch Cafe!  Maybe after i rest up, I will rethink it, but man is it a abeam to do a  workshop in June that far north!!!!

Our group was fantastic, and I enjoyed every minute with them, but an alarm at 2:45!<?*&^@*&%$!@  O.k. on to some photography.  On this trip I was shooting the new Fuji X-T10 exclusively.  I do programs in Nashville this weekend for the official release party and I wanted a good knowledge of the camera for that.  The more I shot it, the more I loved it!  Here are some images with technical info on each.

Sorry it took so long to recover!!!

Bill ,glad you are home and hopefully you will be able to get a little rest prior to heading off to Nashville. I believe you are heading to a camera shop there (don’t remember the name), and I am interested if you think they are going to be stocking the X-T10? If so, I may have to pick one up when we are all in Nashville –’cause then you could help me use it properly 🙂

I’ sure they will stock them, not sure how quickly they will fly off the shelf, it’s DURY’S Camera you should call Nick Coury and have him hold one for you! I’m working on catching up on my rest!

Glad to hear you’re home okay! I hope you got Pete’s special seasoning through airport security. I’d love to try in some burgers.
The 18-135mm photos look nice ! Still on the fence about picking one up.

LOL. I know exactly what you mean about the long days in the northern US (and Canada) this time of year, Bill. The only way I’m ever able to catch sunrise and sunset on the same day is if I can somehow arrange a long nap in the middle of it — hard to do when you’re leading a workshop! As I’m sure you know better than me, Alaska’s even worse. I’ve often contemplated reversing the day — getting up at 6 PM and going to bed at 6 AM to enjoy the best light.

    Glad you’re back safely.
