Time for prayer…..

Going into the weekend I want to ask my readers to take some time over the weekend to pray for our friends from KelbyOne, the ones that are left to carry on, and especially the ones that are now seeking employment.  All these people have become special to me, and I hate to see the family broken up, but instead of wringing our hands about how this happened,  lets join together and pray for a great outcome for everyone involved.

I’ve been on both sides of this coin and it is very hard to make the decisions that have been made, and it is tough to be on the parting end of it too!  My personal prayer will be that everyone learns from what they have gone through, finds a new way to use their considerable talents, and finds, over time, they are better for having lived through it.

Blessings,

Maybe you can’t – but for your readers who aren’t in the know, could you recap what you are talking about when you discuss this issue? I have spoken to several friends and they have no idea what is going on – a little entitlement might be helpful. Luv you man!!

I totally agree with Carl above ; KelbyOne laid off all those Star Players
(highly paid employees, I guess) without telling the followers what really happened
(A Chinese company took over or what??), and you pulled out from KelbyOne as well…

I used to enjoy KelbyOne but now I cannot find a reason to watch KelbyOne without them.
Without knowing the truth, how can I pray for them?…

I don’t know much, but Scott shared with me that over the past year he had to put a large sum of his personal money into the business to make payroll and keep people employed, they finally go to t =he point they couldn’t make payroll. That’s when the last large layoff happened that involved so many well known Photoshop Guys. I honestly do not know what appended that turned the business down. I know that it went incredibly well for a long time, but times change, people start getting the content different ways? Everything, even this great business has a shelf life, they may have hit that wall, I honestly do not know the reason.

  2. I’m new to your site. My husband Bob O’Neill sent your site to me. I will be praying though. God bless you and help in this situation. Amen!

  3. Don’t know all the details, however I pray that all may sense the peace of our Lord and be open to His leading wherever that may take them.

I agree with you Bill, we need to pray for them all. I too have been on both sides of the ball and it hurts both ways. I promise to pray with you and the other Artists for Christ. That’s what we should be doing. Lets get this thing going! God is waiting to hear from us, I don’t know what his will is here but He is still wanting to hear from us. Lets do what we set out to do y’all.

That is what we are called to do. Not make judgements, that’s His business, but to lift up those that are suffering. God will bring good out of all this, He has plan, and we simply have to trust in Him!

I learned tonight that my dear brother Chuck Summers has had a heart attack and will be having open heart surgery, Sunday or Monday. Please pray for Him and his wife Bonita!!!

I always say prayers for those who fall upon hard times in hopes that they may improve the circumstances. It is often hard to understand why God’s plan must put people through difficult times. It is frequently said that we are all where we are supposed to be and God will give us what we need to get through.

I know God is with us, if we have invited Him to be with us, in all times. We make mistakes and they result in us finding our selves in places we would rather not be. It is our fault, we put ourselves there, but God can use our bad decisions to teach us valuable lessons for our future. God allows us free will. He urges us through the Holy Spirit to make the right decision, but often we do not listen or ignore Him, we then have to suffer the results of our poor choices. I know God forgives us, and will help us back on our feet, but we must first recognize the need to repent, (know we are wrong and ask for forgiveness) when we do, God’s forgiveness is immediate and total. Whatever keeps us from asking for God’s help, pride, arrogance, or spite, none are a good excuse to continue to suffer. The only true victory is in Jesus.

Bill I could not agree more! When I first read the news I was shocked, but as time goes by I feel for all those involved. I’m friends with several of the folks involved through PSW and Other events. Mlifting prayers for peace and their future. Thank you for your spirit and guidance!
