One of my favorite Christmas songs is “My Grown-Up Christmas List”!

Do you remember me?
I sat upon your knee.
I wrote to you with childhood fantasies.
Well, I’m all grown up now,
But still need help somehow.
I’m not a child but my heart still can dream.

So here’s my lifelong wish,
My grown-up Christmas list,
Not for myself, but for a world in need:

No more lives torn apart,
Then wars would never start,
And time would heal all hearts.
And every one would have a friend,
And right would always win,
And love would never end
This is my grown-up Christmas list.

What is this illusion called, the innocence of youth?
Maybe only in our blind belief can we ever find the truth!

No more lives torn apart,
Then wars would never start,
And time would heal all hearts.
And every one would have a friend,
And right would always win,
And love would never end
This is my grown-up Christmas list.
This is my only lifelong wish,

This is my only lifelong wish.

This is my grown-up Christmas list!

Let’s OPEN our hearts to make our own Grown-up Christmas List, here’s  mine:

1.  That so many of  the people in my life that I love and care for, that don’t know Him,  would find Jesus, accept Him and thrive in Him!

2.  That a great spiritual revnewal would spread across America and the world!

3.  That my walk with my Lord would grow deeper and stronger everyday and that He will strengthen me to serve Him.

4.  That God will protect and energize Sherelene as she give so much to our family and her patients!

5. That God will richly bless my handful of close friends and family.

6.  That you have the warmest, most deeply meaningful Christmas of  your life!
Blessings,
the pilgrim
P.S. One last, selfish one, Fujifilm please complete your f2 compact lens line with a 70mm f 2!!!!  (105 mm f2 equiv.) o.k. and how about a 16mm f 2  what a great compact system that would make!!!!
Thank you Fujifilm!  I went to the Affiliate store this morning and found this Christmas greeting, thanks so much for not bowing to political correctness!!!!

While you’re at it, why not have Fuji re-visit the macro lens decision by crafting a 120 macro? Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Merry Christmas Bill. Your name popped up in my head today and I wondered how you were doing. I thought of the many great times I had publishing UltraFlight Magazine and doing your American from 500 feet stories and great photos. As we age and get closer to the end of this and closer to being with Lord and Savior, we get excited and concerned. Concerned about the many who have accepted Christ as their Savior. I keep praying for all of our family members and friends hoping that maybe this will be the year for their rebirth. Have a blessed Christmas and tell Wes high. I haven’t flown for some time, my hobby now is riding my Segway all over town and taking pictures and making Segway Inspiration booklets telling how I see God’s great creation all around us.
