We had our first Summit in the Smokies and we  had a terrific group, and they had a great time!  Unfortunately they did not have  the conditions above!!!!  It was the worst early April I’ve ever seen.  Streams were flooded, the foliage was not really out at all, but our group soldiered on.  Jack and I have another group at the end of April and the conditions should be much improved.  So why tell this story!?

Because as a nature shooter you know conditions can often be something less thana what  you wanted, what do you do?  You do what my folks did, they went out and found something selse to do, and did it well!!!

This is the joy of having great students in a gerat location….  When they do what real photogrpahers do!  They work it out!!!!

Blessings,

Yes, the weather was uncommonly cold, windy and wet for this time of the year. However, the instructors were fantastic, the team from Fujifilm was extremely informative and insightful. I learned more about my XT-2 in just a few hours than I had in the months I’ve owned it.

Bill, you and Jack are a great team!

Great instructors make for a great workshop or photo outing. You and Jack make it all possible.

I have to agree with Gale….and the reality of it is….”it is all about relationships”….and we met wonderful people, learned a ton, and enjoyed our time together. I came home with great memories and new ideas to inspire me, and so much more understanding of my XT-2.. The Fujifilm people were GREAT, and I appreciate the hard work and the expertise that it took to put it all together. Thank you, Bill and Jack!

Once again, you and Jack did not disappoint. The Summit was fantastic. It was wonderful to spend time with Instructors that actually shoot and understand the Fujifilm camera. I came home inspired and with a much better understanding of my camera. Now to just go out and shoot! Thank you!
