What does God want from me anyway!!!???

Good question. Have you ever wanted to throw your hands in the air and lash out with that mantra? Believe it or not God would not be angry at your question. The truly incredible thing about our Heavenly Father is that He has never tried to hide anything from us. In the the book of Micah is a very revealing scripture about what God truly wants from us.

Micah 6:8 (The Message Translation)

But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do, 
what God is looking for in men and women.
It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, 
be compassionate and loyal in your love,
And don’t take yourself too seriously – take God seriously.
We’re really good at overcomplicating things, lets try not to do that with these instructions.
Let’s see, God has made it plain how to live, what to do (clear instructions)
Do what is fair and just (honest and right) to your neighbor (that means everyone)
Be compassionate and loyal in your love. (show mercy and be steadfast in your love)
Don’t take yourself too seriously (it’s not about you or me) take God seriously (it is about Him!)
Not all that hard to understand. A little harder to do, but worth it.
