The Neon Graveyard
After the WPPI show was finished today I went someplace I’ve wanted to go to for a long time, the Neon Graveyard! This is a living history museum of Las Vegas past. When I was college age, my brother Homer and I accompanied our grandparents on a trip through out the west, with a stop in Las Vegas. Back then (about 45 years ago), Most of Las Vegas was down on Freemont Street and most of these signs were hanging!!!! OIt was nostalgic to walk through this graveyard of neon sign that I and Homer once saw in use! Wow, how time flies when you’re having fun!
Enjoy;
Blessings,
the pilgrim

Brings back some great memories! Sure wish I had gotten to see our room at the Freemont Hotel that night, but the Slot Machines just wouldn’t let me go!! Love You Brother!
I remember! Is a great memory, love you brother!
The shapes and colors here are fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure my friend!
Bill,
I am glad you made it there. Sorry you were not at pma so we could do it together. It looks like the light was pretty good. Sometimes it is quite contrasty. Nice stuff.
John
Yeah, would have loved to have shot it an hour later.
How ’bout adding the Neon Graveyard to the Death Valley event you’re working on? And then a side trip to Smashburger? 😉
Sounds good to me!!!!!!
