Three Shot Sequence…….

11 years, 1 month ago 10

No KLM 747 arrival today, so I worked the big American Airlines flight from New York.  I used the D800 and 14-24 right on the beach!  This was the three shot sequence that I captured.  Freaky being under such a big plane and watching others standing on their toes reaching for it!!!!  Human intelligence is vastly over-rated!!!!  Enjoy!

Oh well, one more chance tomorrow!!!

Blessings,

    Bill,

I’m really enjoying these shots from St. Maarten. I’ve been there a couple of times but have never seen the airport so this is special. Looking forward to the Pacific Northwest in June. You could bring Wes along and you two could always do touch-and-go’s on a runway while the rest of us shoot. We promise not to reach for the wings.

    Blessings,
    Miles

  2. Hi Bill
As always, love your blog and your photography. Based on your comments I purchased the new Nikon 80 -400 mm lens. Just got it yesterday and took a few quick shots with it. Seems to be everything you said it was.

Keep up the great work both spiritually and your photography.

    All the best
    Regards,
    Dave

I think you are going to love the lens, it is everything we asked Japan for. and it is very, very sharp. the VR works exceptionally well, I will do a full report early next week if not sooner. Thanks for your kind words Dave.

Have you ever thought about wirting an ebook or guest authoring on other blogs? I have a blog based upon on the same subjects you discuss and would really like to have you share some stories/information. I know my audience would value your work. If you are even remotely interested, feel free to shoot me an e-mail.

I had the same trouble when I oerrded the 1st Portico Quartet album direct from Babel a couple of years ago. I only eventually received the CD after opening a paypal dispute. I assumed it had been an oversight but perhaps not …
