Fantastic Week…….
Well, I’m still alive! I had a fantastic time with Jack and his gang at Death Valley, wow what a place! We pulled some very long days, filled with incredible shooting locations, and great class room time. I really enjoyed teaming up with Jack again and was very pleased to be asked to join him several more times next year!!! I will reveal those dates after I get approval from my chairman of the board, Sherelene! The shot above and below are the monochrome and color versions of a shot I made this morning, ready for this, hand held, ISO 6400, with the amazing Fuji X100s!
I have dozens of images I want to share with you through out this week. I will get started on Thursday, in the air all day tomorrow, getting home! Hope all of you are well, and will be up and rolling on Thursday…

All I can say is thus was one of my greatest groups, light and everything, having you here is pretty much impossible to describe. you continue to serve as an inspiration. Thank you for the past 20 + years of friendship.
I would have loved to have a recording of all our conversations we had in the car to share with our readers and friends . Weren’t they great.?
I’m looking forward to 2014. The past week will be hard to top.

Jack, my friend I echo your response, great group, great knowledge of the locations by you, killer light, and lots of fun conversation, all week. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a Kenny G greatest hits CD!!! Ha, just kidding about Kenny, the Pat Methany selections were terrific!

Thanks for sharing you photo’s. When will you and Jack be announcing your joint workshops for 2014. I waiting so I can plan my travels for next year. I have already sign up for your Moab workshop in March and would like to take at least one more workshop next year.

Jack asked me to join him for 4 workshops next year and we will both be announcing full details next week. I will join Jack in the Columbia Gorge & the Palouse both in June, Acadia N.P. In October, and Nelson Ghost town in Nevada in November. I will also run a trip to Ireland with Nikon’s Scott Diussa, in April, and add The Badlands in South Dakota to the His Light Schedule with Jim Begley, all this should be announced next week or before Thanksgiving!,,
