I am really enjoying retirement, but I miss Bill Pekala, and Scott Diussa, and Mark Kettenhofen and the rest of the gang!  Not that working for Nikon I ran into any of them that much, we were all always headed different directions, but I did love the comradory, thankfully the friendships are not over!  I’ve been too busy to miss much about full time employment, and I am having a blast, I can’t wait to do a workshop with Pekala in Moab, and Diussa in Ireland, (coming soon!!!!)   But for now, thanks guys for all the great times, and for you Bill, “Here’s lookin’ at you guy!”

Thanks guys for letting me take a little break this week.  Sherelene and I have really gotten some rest and after four straight weeks on the road and Sherelene’s even worse schedule we were long over do.  I can’t say enough about the great folks at the Marco Island Marriott Resort!  We have had a great trip and will be returning home rested.  That’s a good thing because I can’t wait to get back to serious shooting with Jack and our gang out in Death Valley late next week!

On another note, I am excited that after the Death Valley Workshop I hope to start cranking on the long promised eBooks, I have a long list and can’t wait to get started on them!  Once again thanks for coming to join me here even when the pickins’ are slim, I promise to crank it up soon!

Blessings,

This is just too good!  No not wonderful warm days and beautiful sunsets, being with Sherelene! I married so much above myself it isn’t even funny.  Tonight I sat with her at beautiful outdoor restaurant by wonderful boats on the bay, had a great steak, but the real joy was looking across the table to the love of my life!  Now you may think this is stuff you don’t need to hear, but I have a point to make.  If God has so richly blessed  you with a life partner you can love and admire, you need to tell your world!  I admire my wife so much, and she has taught me so much, if I’m much of a man, she is very much responsible for my maturing!

So I’m going to get off the computer and spend time with my bride.  Do me, and your spouse, a favor, go over to them and tell them how much they mean to you, that’s what I’m going to do!

Blessings,
