This weekend I will be attending and speaking at the Southeastern Photojournalism Conference in Nashville, TN. I’m always thrilled to attend this conference and this year I get to be a part of something very special a Lifttime Achievement Award for Dr. Charles Stanley! We will also be joined by Ricky Skaggs who will also make a presentation!!!

I am very happy that you will be getting together with two of your dear friends. You haven’t said much about them recently so it’s even more special to hear this news.
Funny story. I met Dr. Stanley when he was with you in the Tetons. Now being a Catholic, albeit an ecumenical one, I didn’t know a lot about him. He was a kind gentleman who gave me his card and said I should drop by if I was ever in Atlanta. Well, I had a meeting in Atlanta and saw a sign for the First Baptist Church so I figured I would stop in and say hello. I had no idea how huge that place is! But as I was there I figured I would continue but my plans were almost thwarted by a somewhat snotty secretary who was anything but welcoming until I produced his card. Significant change of attitude.

I saw you would be in Nashville speaking but I did not know of the presentation. The presentation will make this conference special to you, Ricky, Dr. Stanley and many conference attendees.
It is a faith based look at a career, Saturday morning at 8:30 at the SBC building.
