the end of a great week

I will be on commercial jets all day Monday, so this will be the last post from Reno. Wow, what a week, we all had a great time and I saw a lot of great images from my buddies, Bill P, Scott, Jose’
Richard, Mike, and Moose. It’s always fun to compete in a friendly way, you love it when you win, but you are happy for the other guys when they get winners too. You mostly compete against yourself. Your goal should always be to be a better shooter tomorrow than today, if you do that you will just get better and better. More importantly, have fun!

Sunday morning we were fortunate to find a P38 on the ramp and the morning light was glorious.
I tried to shoot it several different ways and apply some computer magic, see what you think?

O.k. time to give a little thanks. Father, thank you for filling my life with such great friends, wonderful light, and great airplanes to put in it! Tomorrow the long awaited Phoenix 103 will arrive in Corbin and I can’t wait to take her up. It has been great watching these great airplanes pass overhead, but I can’t wait to be back up there looking down!
