 <\/p>\n

For the first two days of the His Light Workshop in Nashville with Ricky Skaggs, it has been back to school! \u00a0Let me explain, people pay a fee to come and hang out with our team and shoot in great locations. \u00a0We are supposed to equip them with photographic knowledge, spiritual inspiration, and lots of fun. \u00a0I feel pretty certain that we have, but more than any workshop in memory this group has taught me more than I could have imagined\u2026..<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Group:<\/span><\/strong> \u00a0this is one of the most delightful group of people we’ve had in along time. \u00a0Very diverse and all eager to learn, and enjoying the fellowship immensely! \u00a0I can already remember warm conversation with each person in the group, and for two days in that is really special!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Team:<\/strong><\/span> \u00a0“Snake” Barrett, Nick Coury, Vinny Colucci, Pete Collins, and Bob Carey have each added so much to the learning process and the fellowship with them has been wonderful as well! \u00a0Hats off to Nick for his incredible lighting demo at Durys, some of the portraits of Ricky were outstanding, and yes you will see them later on this blog! \u00a0* Special Note, thanks Pete (Collins) for introducing me to Scotty Smith, what an incredible servant of God, and a great guy! \u00a0I know we are well on our way to a very special friendship!!!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mr. Ricky Skaggs: \u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Where do I start? \u00a0Warm and caring, patient, and giving, unbelievably talented, he has shown once again why he is one of our favorite friends to join us for a workshop. \u00a0Sitting at the concert at the Ryman last night, it was hard to believe that the star of the show was our friend who just a few hours earlier was shooting side by side with us!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Weather:<\/span><\/strong> \u00a0Perfect, not the usual mid 90’s of late July in Nashville. \u00a0Mornings have been so pleasant, just a perfect time to shoot!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Locations<\/span><\/strong>: \u00a0All the great people at Antique Archaeology, The Marathon Motor Works, and Canonsburg Village have rolled out the red carpet and opened special doors to make this a once in a lifetime experience!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jim Begley:<\/span><\/strong> \u00a0What a talented guy, what a great Christian man, what a friend! \u00a0He brought his A game to this one!!!!!<\/p>\n

So it has been back to school for me!!! \u00a0I am a blessed man, to have such friends, new friends, and to share the photography \u00a0love with these new brothers ands sisters!<\/p>\n
