My dear friend Chuck Summers sent me a couple of contemporary \u00a0Christian music CDs , thank you Chuck, very kind of you! \u00a0This morning while doing my, \u00a0“Honey-Do” list I was listening to one and song came on the I really liked and wanted to share. \u00a0The song title is Do Something<\/span><\/strong> and the lyrics are below;<\/p>\n

I woke up this morning<\/strong><\/span>
\n Saw a world full of trouble now<\/strong><\/span>
\n Thought, how’d we ever get so far down<\/strong><\/span>
\n How’s it ever gonna turn around<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

So I turned my eyes to Heaven<\/strong><\/span>
\n I thought, “God, why don’t You do something?”<\/strong><\/span>
\n Well, I just couldn’t bear the thought of<\/strong><\/span>
\n People living in poverty<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Children sold into slavery<\/strong><\/span>
\n The thought disgusted me<\/strong><\/span>
\n So, I shook my fist at Heaven<\/strong><\/span>
\n Said, “God, why don’t You do something?”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

He said, “I did, I created you”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\n If not us, then who<\/strong><\/span>
\n If not me and you<\/strong><\/span>
\n Right now, it’s time for us to do something<\/strong><\/span>
\n If not now, then when<\/strong><\/span>

It brings to mind the purpose for believers in the world. \u00a0If the world needs more forgiveness, it’s \u00a0our job to offer it. \u00a0More compassion? \u00a0Up to us! \u00a0More grace? We can be the source! \u00a0That is why he created us, and when we accepted His forgiveness this is our marching orders! \u00a0To live in His power and offer His gifts.<\/p>\n

Belive in Him and have faith in His love.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Share His love and have faith in others.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Care for the sick, \u00a0Visit those in prison, pray for the weak, feed the poor, bring hope to the hopeless. \u00a0Love \u00a0the unloved. \u00a0What better time of the year than now to remember our Saviours birth in a truly meaningful way, and love others as He loved them!<\/p>\n
