Spring is coming, really it really is!\u00a0 I know it seems hard to believe, with 2 to 3 feet of snow falling up\u00a0 the eastern seaboard\u00a0 So while we are warm by the fire, how are we getting ready for that glorious spring set to arrive in a few weeks!!??\u00a0 May I make some suggestions?<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 Brush up on your knowledge.\u00a0 This is great time to read a photography book, or take an online class or two.\u00a0 Maybe practice your skills.\u00a0 How long has it been since you tried to hand hold your camera at some really slow speeds, might be a good time to brush up!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2.\u00a0 Give your cameras and lenses a really good cleaning.\u00a0 Change and charge batteries.\u00a0 Test your flashes!\u00a0 It is time to get your gear ready for Spring!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3.\u00a0 Look at some truly good work and get inspired!\u00a0 Spend some time on 500 Px<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 Start going through your magazine collection and photo books and study some of your favorite images.\u00a0 Pick up one book to devote some time to.\u00a0 I’m working on Jay Maisel’s new book.
