On Labor Day are you laboring?<\/p>\n

labor<\/strong> noun1\u00a0manual labor:\u00a0work,\u00a0hard work,\u00a0toil,\u00a0exertion,\u00a0industry,\u00a0drudgery,\u00a0effort,\u00a0menial\u00a0work;\u00a0informal\u00a0slog,\u00a0grind,\u00a0sweat,\u00a0scut work;\u00a0literary\u00a0travail,\u00a0moil.\u00a0 ANTONYMS\u00a0 rest,\u00a0leisure.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I want to take the word toil. \u00a0To toil is to work under duress. \u00a0What are you toiling with today? \u00a0It could be cleaning out your garage, or getting everything ready for the family picnic, or maybe it’s something much more important!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I have a heart for the lost. \u00a0Why? \u00a0Because I was lost and now I’m found. \u00a0I was miserable, alone, scared, empty, wandering, purposeless. \u00a0I’m not anymore. \u00a0What changed my life? \u00a0I became fully aware that God is real, that He loves me, that He gave His only Son to allow me to have forgiveness. \u00a0It immediately changed my life. \u00a0Now why would I share this with you? \u00a0Because I have no idea whether or not you have come to this belief, and even more important, accepted Christ’s sacrifice for you?!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I have been asked how is this any of my business!!!??? \u00a0Allow me to try and answer that. \u00a0When God enters your heart, you receive God’s love for others, for the first time in your life you truly care about others, even more than yourself! \u00a0When you’re deeply concerned for others, your most major concern is do they know “your” Lord! \u00a0Let me take a moment to clear something up. \u00a0Many nonbelievers think that believers think they are better than them, and they are making judgments about them. \u00a0They feel that someone that witnesses to them about Christ is in effect saying \u00a0“I’m good, and you’re not, and I think you need to get good like me!!” \u00a0 In Romans it says that we all have fallen short of the glory of God. \u00a0The scripture doesn’t say, “some” have fallen short, it says “all” have fallen short. \u00a0Falling short of God’s desire for us is sin, there it is that word that turns so many people off. \u00a0It’s a hard word, and it’s even harder because we are all sinners. \u00a0No one wants to hear that, but it is truth and truth cannot be denied.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n When you come to the full realization that you are no longer guilty and \u00a0being held guilty for your sins, it changes \u00a0you in ways that no one can understand until they feel that release for themselves. \u00a0I may know you, and then again, I may not know you. \u00a0But I do know that God loves you, that He wants nothing more than to have you choose to become a part of His family. \u00a0What do I gain from sharing this? \u00a0I don’t do it for gain, I do it because I don’t want anyone to miss the incredible blessing of belonging to Him.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If this finds you laboring today, searching for real answers, \u00a0I pray this point you in the right direction.
