It has been a great month in my life, the wonderful Nashville event with Ricky Skaggs and Joe McNally and then this last week seeing so many wonderful friends at the Faithful Friends event in Kingsport (more on that later this week), \u00a0but I came back from both with a large looming question:\u00a0How do I take the next important step in my life serving the Lord<\/span>.<\/strong><\/span> \u00a0After a lot of prayer and some great conversations with dear brothers, \u00a0Jim Haverstock and Carl Turner, I was led to this action plan revealed to me from the Holy Spirit. \u00a0Let me share;<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 1. \u00a0Walk with Him every moment, and deepen my relationship with Him.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2. \u00a0Stay alert and listen for His voice and His direction.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3. \u00a0Be OBEDIENT to His voice and directions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 4. \u00a0Keep my eyes on the mission and constantly remember all I do must lead to that.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 5. \u00a0Enjoy the life God has provided for me.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 6. \u00a0Ask God to give me those who need to feel His love and then share His love with them.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 7. \u00a0Stay relevant by learning to know what He thinks relevance is.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This is my list, but I can’t help but believe that it would work for any believer dedicated to deepening their walk with our Savior.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I submit this to you with His love<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Blessings,<\/p>\n <\/p>\n the pilgrim<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Romans 8:28<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Photograph by Ken Metz of the pilgrim holding Ricky Skagg’s Mandolin.
