On the news this morning there was a story about 20 University of Virginia students\u00a0that have signed a petiiton to cancel Christmas!!?? \u00a0O.K. let’s think about that. \u00a0What if we actually did cancel Christmas, not the celebration, but the actual event!!! \u00a0What would the result of that be?<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n We would all be sinners with no hope of escaping the penalty of eternal death, since there would never have been a Savior born to\u00a0die for us, and\u00a0offer us forgiveness for our\u00a0sins!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Every December families would not gather to be together and celebrate the holiday, that didn’t exist. \u00a0December 25th would be just another cold winter’s day.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Can you imagine what a pagan holiday New Year’s Eve would have become, it’s bad enough now, imagine a world without hope! \u00a0(yes Michelle O.,<\/span> <\/p>\n Well snowflakes, I hope your parents, getting wind of this, will return your presents and not fix wonderful meals for you, and take down the Christmas Tree and \u00a0be surprised when you show up at home this week for “Christmas” break!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Maybe the University should just continue classes through December and into the spring, with no break!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I was young once, and I was stupid too, but eventually I grew up, and I pray the same for them! \u00a0Merry Christmas Cavaliers! \u00a0Seriously can we stop this madness!?<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Blessings,<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n the pilgrim<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" On the news this morning there was a story about 20 University of Virginia students\u00a0that have signed a petiiton to cancel Christmas!!?? \u00a0O.K. let’s think about that. \u00a0What if we actually did cancel Christmas, not the celebration, but the actual event!!! \u00a0What would the result of that be?
