 <\/p>\n

Sometimes a good deed pays off big time!!! \u00a0This morning Sherelene ask me if I would deliver an item to a neighbors church and then take in the laundry to the dry cleaners. \u00a0It was cold, but I said, \u00a0“sure sweetheart” and headed out. \u00a0On the way back home I noticed that the sun, at a low level (9:30 am) was casting long shadows and I wished I had brought a camera along. (Lesson one: \u00a0always have a camera along!!!!) \u00a0About then I saw the three crosses in a field just off the road, I see them everyday and it dawned on me they must be casting great shadows on the brown grass. \u00a0Now I was rushing home to grab my drone bag!!! \u00a0The two images below were the result of a short flight over the field. \u00a0Two different perspectives you can choose your favorite, I still can’t decide!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As you have come to know from reading my blog entries, they often hold more \u00a0 \u00a0than one meaning or interpretation. \u00a0Let’s revisit the title of the blog “What do you see?” \u00a0It has, in this case a VISUAL, PHOTOGRAPHIC AND SPIRITUAL<\/strong><\/span> meaning.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

VISUAL:<\/strong><\/span> \u00a0We must remember in life what we think we see is a matter of perspective, or in other words where we are in realtionship to what we are seeing.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

PHOTOGRAPHIC:<\/span><\/strong> \u00a0As a photographer we must, more than anythng else, be aware of light! It is the direction, quality and warmth of light that often turns an\u00a0average looking subject into somthing beautiful. This morning I was very aware of the light and knew the three crosses would be casting wonderful shadows, without thinking about the light, I would have never attempted to shoot them!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SPIRITUAL:<\/strong> <\/span>\u00a0This morning the Holy Spirit reminded me of how many of \u00a0life’s most imporant lessons come from the historic scene of Jesus hanging on the cross with two thieves on either side.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

FORGIVENESS<\/b><\/span>:<\/span><\/strong> \u00a0Jesus looked down from the cross at the men that had beat him, insulted him and gambled for his clothes and said “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” \u00a0How greater example do we need than that act!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

ASSURANCE OF HEAVEN:<\/strong><\/span> \u00a0One of the thieves said he knew he deserved what he was getting, but ask Christ to remember him \u00a0in heaven, and Jesus said, “You will be with me today in paradise.”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

THE MISSION ACCOMPLISHED:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 When Jeuss cried out His final words, “It is finished” He was not talking about the end of His life, but the task of dying for our sins, He had finished His mission to pay our sin debt! \u00a0We only have to accept His gift of eternal life by giving Him our \u00a0hearts and asking for the forgiveness He so badlly wants to give you and I.<\/p>\n
