<\/a><\/p>\nLoved the painting and it opened up a great title, but it has nothing to do with today’s blog! \u00a0Today \u00a0I want to talk about a good friend, Bob Krist. \u00a0I called Bob this morning to get some information for an upcoming article about what some top pros carry in their camera bag, \u00a0for the Learning Center. \u00a0I will get into that in the article, but for today I want to laud a friend. \u00a0I met Bob many years ago and we have taught some workshops together and had some good times out shooting in the field. What I want to say about Bob is something I hope you’re working on in your own life.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I’ve never met another photographer that has met or knows Bob who has had anything to say negative about him. \u00a0In fact they not only never say negative things, almost everyone, to a person, says, “Bob, what a great guy! \u00a0I really like that man…..” \u00a0Why do you guess that is so? \u00a0Well, I would be happy to tell you, Bob is an outwardly living person. \u00a0He thinks more about others than himself. \u00a0He think so much about others that he picks up on what their needs are and then goes to work trying to be of help. \u00a0Bob is an incredible artist with a camera, and I often see his work, and pay him my highest compliment, “I wish I had shot that!” \u00a0However, with Bob, I don’t say that , not even to myself. \u00a0No, I think Bob Krist deserves every good thing that comes into his life. \u00a0Bob has endured plenty of pain in his life, but he still is the same great guy I’ve always known, he carries himself well.<\/p>\n

I would suggest that you examine your life and ask yourself a key question we should all ask ourselves everyday; who and what am I living for? \u00a0If you do it might lead you to live a life that will make you more like Bob. \u00a0Is Bob something extra ordinary? \u00a0No, Bob is just another photographer, but his choices have made him something extra ordinary, a man that cares. \u00a0We all can be that same kind of person, but we first have to get ourselves out of the way, easier to said than done, but well worth the ffort!<\/p>\n

When \u00a0it is all said and done, I would be proud if someone compared me, in anyway with Bob, as shooter that’s not going to happen, as a man, I’m still working on it!<\/p>\n
