Emmet Otter&#8217;s Jug-Band Christmas<\/strong><\/span> &#8211; \u00a0A family favorite at the Fortney house has always been this great film. \u00a0My daughter Catherine cans still recite every line while watching the film before it&#8217;s spoken!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>7. \u00a0Miracle on 34th Street (the 1947 original)<\/strong><\/span> &#8211; \u00a0This is a great film best viewed in the original black and white version. \u00a0This is a wonderful film was made one year after I was born!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>8. \u00a0Holiday Inn<\/strong><\/span> &#8211; This classic Christmas movie with the great music of Irving Berlin stars Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, and Marjorie Reynolds. \u00a0A film that is an entertaining the 50th time you watch it, as the first!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christmas films about redemption and values:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>9. \u00a0A Christmas Carol<\/strong> &#8211;<\/span> \u00a0Many wonderful adaptation have been done to \u00a0this classic Charles Dicken&#8217;s story. \u00a0this version made int he 1951 with Alastair Sim is on e of the most faithful to the original story and most touching, though I own every version I am aware of. \u00a0this is a great story of redemption and change. \u00a0I watch it several times a year to remind me of what God wants my heart o see and embrace.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>10. \u00a0Scrooge<\/strong><\/span> &#8211; A modern adaptation fo A Christmas Carol with Bill Murray. \u00a0Filled with good laughs and a great ending of change.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>11. \u00a0It&#8217;s A Wonderful Life<\/strong><\/span> &#8211; Frank Capra&#8217;s great film about a man and his life and what a man&#8217;s actions lead to in the end. \u00a0One of the greatest films ever made. \u00a0Jimmy Stewart;;&#8217;s best film and a must see, \u00a0once every year!!!! \u00a0What would life have been like if you never existed?
