What proceeded was a deep and long forensic audit as they attempted to prove they were right, that in fact, I was dishonest. \u00a0Three months later, and hour and hours of compiling and resubmitting reports, the final findings were announced, the company owed me $310. in un-submitted expenses that I had failed to turn in for myself. \u00a0I was cleared of any wrong doing. \u00a0I came within a hair of resigning. \u00a0Nothing makes me madder than to be falsely accused of something! \u00a0Especially something like this!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s go to scripture for a little lesson on how we should respond to false accusations;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #deb887;\">Isaiah 53 \u00a0 \u00a0<span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: 13px; font-weight: normal;\">New Living Translation (NLT)<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-weight: normal; color: #deb887;\">\u00a0<sup id=\"en-NLT-18688\">1<\/sup> Who has believed our message?<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0To whom has the Lord revealed his powerful arm?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0<sup id=\"en-NLT-18689\">2<\/sup> My servant grew up in the Lord\u2019s presence like a tender green shoot,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0like a root in dry ground.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0nothing to attract us to him.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0<sup id=\"en-NLT-18690\">3<\/sup> He was despised and rejected\u2014<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We turned our backs on him and looked the other way.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He was despised, and we did not care.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0<sup id=\"en-NLT-18691\">4<\/sup> Yet it was our weaknesses he carried;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0it was our sorrows<sup>[<a title=\"See footnote a\" href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Isaiah%2053&amp;version=NLT#fen-NLT-18691a\"><span style=\"color: #deb887;\">a<\/span><\/a>]<\/sup> that weighed him down.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0a punishment for his own sins!<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0<sup id=\"en-NLT-18692\">5<\/sup> But he was pierced for our rebellion,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0crushed for our sins.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He was beaten so we could be whole.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He was whipped so we could be healed.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0<sup id=\"en-NLT-18693\">6<\/sup> All of us, like sheep, have strayed away.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We have left God\u2019s paths to follow our own.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Yet the Lord laid on him<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the sins of us all.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0<sup id=\"en-NLT-18694\">7<\/sup> He was oppressed and treated harshly,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0yet he never said a word.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He was led like a lamb to the slaughter.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0And as a sheep is silent before the shearers,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0he did not open his mouth.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0<sup id=\"en-NLT-18695\">8<\/sup> Unjustly condemned,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0he was led away.<sup>[<a title=\"See footnote b\" href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Isaiah%2053&amp;version=NLT#fen-NLT-18695b\"><span style=\"color: #deb887;\">b<\/span><\/a>]<\/sup><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0No one cared that he died without descendants,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0that his life was cut short in midstream.<sup>[<a title=\"See footnote c\" href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Isaiah%2053&amp;version=NLT#fen-NLT-18695c\"><span style=\"color: #deb887;\">c<\/span><\/a>]<\/sup><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0But he was struck down<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0for the rebellion of my people.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0<sup id=\"en-NLT-18696\">9<\/sup> He had done no wrong<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and had never deceived anyone.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0But he was buried like a criminal;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0he was put in a rich man\u2019s grave.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0<sup id=\"en-NLT-18697\">10<\/sup> But it was the Lord\u2019s good plan to crush him<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and cause him grief.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Yet when his life is made an offering for sin,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0he will have many descendants.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He will enjoy a long life,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and the Lord\u2019s good plan will prosper in his hands.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0<sup id=\"en-NLT-18698\">11<\/sup> When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0he will be satisfied.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0And because of his experience,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0my righteous servant will make it possible<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0for many to be counted righteous,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0for he will bear all their sins.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0<sup id=\"en-NLT-18699\">12<\/sup> I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0because he exposed himself to death.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He was counted among the rebels.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I was very, very angry because I had been accused of something I did not do and would never do. \u00a0I&#8217;m not perfect and I have made mistakes but I didn&#8217;t make this one! \u00a0Jesus never did anything wrong, never, ever!!! \u00a0And yet He died and took the blame for all the sins of all mankind, for all time!!! \u00a0 Read one copy of one newspaper and see the enormous number of sins in one city, in one state, in one week! \u00a0Think of being blamed and paying for all the sins of all mankind forever, past, present, and future! \u00a0In the scripture above it says, \u00a0<span style=\"color: #deb887;\">&#8220;<\/span><span style=\"color: #deb887;\">He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. \u00a0\u00a0And as a sheep is silent before the shearers,\u00a0he did not open his mouth.&#8221; \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Was I so gracious? \u00a0Not on your life! \u00a0I was wronged and demanded satisfaction. \u00a0Jesus didn&#8217;t deserve any of what happened to him, but He did it willingly for you and I. \u00a0Jesus did not even hate those that persecuted and crucified Him. \u00a0Hanging on the cross He looked down at those that had driven the nails through His hands and feet and said,<span style=\"color: #deb887;\"> &#8220;Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.&#8221; \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I have so much to learn, Father.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There are two ways to look at things in life, through our eyes or His eyes. \u00a0Just as <span style=\"color: #b0e0e6;\">Kent Irvin, (top image) and Jim Haverstock, (lower image)<\/span> both saw the same lighthouse, but they saw it in different ways. \u00a0If we are to follow in His footsteps we have to see the world and all that happens in it, \u00a0in a different way than we see it as mere human beings. \u00a0We must see the world as He sees it. \u00a0Is that possible? \u00a0No, not without the enduring power and wisdom of His Holy Spirit. \u00a0We <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">can<\/span> rise above the circumstances of this life, but we can&#8217;t do it alone. \u00a0Fortunately, on Christmas Day over two thousand years ago a baby was born, who would free us from all that would defeat us, including ourselves.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The man that called me a thief? \u00a0For years I&#8217;ve felt the hurt and anger of that event, today I am letting it go, I forgive him. \u00a0I can do no less, \u00a0and serve my Master, \u00a0Who taught me how to, &#8220;See things differently&#8230;..&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Get to know Him today, and be free at last&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>the
