I arrived in Reno yesterday and drove down to Bridgeport, California to meet Richard Small to do a one day shoot at Bodie, the Ghost Town. We had a great time and did a lot of HDR images. This is a very fascinating place rich with history of the gold rush era. Bodies sits on a mountain side at over 8,000 feet of elevation.<\/p>\n
The Ghost town is
\nfilled with lots of old
\nmachinery and the
\ntowns buildings and
\neven some old trucks.
\nThe textures and
\ncolors were fantastic.
\nIt was a great after-
\nnoon of shooting.<\/p>\n
I was composing a
\nshot when I very
\nattractive young
\nlady said I know I
\nknow you, have
\nyou ever been to
\nPhotoshop World?
\nIt turned out to be
\nKaren Nace who
\nworks with Ben
\nWilmore. I\u2019m a
\nbig fan of Ben\u2019s
\nwork and was
\nsorry he was not
\nat Bodie, but I
\nhave to say Karen is
\nmuch prettier! Had to
\nsay that Ben…..<\/p>\n
It was nice to meet
\nher and we had a<\/p>\n
conversation with Richard about how
\nwe\u2019re all fans of the NAPP gang. May-
\nbe we will run into Ben in the morning.
\nI shot a lot of stuff and will shoot more
\nin the morning before I head back up
\nto Reno, so I will post some more
\nTuesday, maybe Wednesday.<\/p>\n
