Superb cover image, sir! Was this taken with the Fujinon 60mm Macro? The reason I ask, is that I know that the Fuji 60 is natively capable of 2:1, rather than 1:1 magnification. As you were also a “Nikonian”, perhaps one of the Micro-Nikkors was used?
BTW, I see you have a “Featured Link” to Bill Pekala. I was a student of his way back in the ’70s, when he hosted a Nikon School in New Jersey! He taught me many insights into photography, and his lectures were excellent as well.
