About His Light Ministries

The driving force of the Pilgrim’s Chronicles is His Light Ministries.  For many years, since a serious bout with cancer when I was 35, I have dedicated my life to serving Him.  As a photographer I’ve tried to make my conduct an example of a life lived in devotion to Him.  I’m sure it is not startling news that I’ve failed many times, I’m far, far from perfect, but God never asked me to be perfect, just forgiven.  I was forgiven the moment that I ask Jesus to come into my heart and life.  No single moment has been the same since that day.

Living for Christ does not mean you attempt to be without fault, that is a loosing proposition, depending on Him moment to moment is the only way to have success.  You still slip, fall, and skin your knees, but you get back up and try again.  I believe God loves those that don’t give up.

The greatest benefit to a life of walking with Him is the knowledge that He is in control and that all that you face is part of His plan for your growth and welfare.  Any Father that would give up His only Son for me is never going to let  me down on anything else.  A lifetime relationship with Him brings something that nothing else I’ve ever tried could; Hope, Joy, Peace, and Faith.

I will leave all the rest for just those four things!  Then there is my incredible bride, Sherelene, my children, my grandchildren, and the wonderful friends He has allowed me to enjoy.  I’m like the man who saw a fantastic movie and couldn’t stop telling people how great it was!  The difference is, this isn’t make-believe, it has become the greatest REALITY in my life……..

His Light Scripture :    John 8:12

 Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
