I understand your frustration, it seems that everywhere we go we find more of us! In a way it’s humorous but when people are downright rude it is a different story. It seems that everywhere I go and find a beautiful wildlife shot there is somebody in a white t-shirt that thinks that they should walk out and touch the animal on the nose, despite the fact that it might be a 2000 lb Moose in rut! Technology is much to blame, it is easier to find out about these places, as we post our pictures on every possible site imaginable, seen by people all over the world. Cameras are in our phones and they require little or no skill to take great pictures, at least in their eyes. As photographers I think we owe it to them to do as much education as we can through our postings and other means without being mean about it. I guess what I am saying is if we find a place that is a great place we might just go back the next time and find they have followed us. Now I don’t really feel like we should swear to secrecy the places we find as that just is not the Christian way but I know it is tempting! And I know there are many beautiful places in this blessed land we have been given the privilege to live in. Right now I have a pair of Blue Birds nesting in a hollow tree on my place and I am enjoying photographing them despite their revenge of pooping all over my cars!
In Christ
