Glorious Water…..
Today was our first full day in the Columbia River Gorge and the water shooting was spectacular! Jack and I really enjoyed out day with the troops! We all had a great time and we finally got the rain and overcast conditions we needed! More tomorrow, but for now here are some of the best skies from today!
Wish you were here!
Blessings,
the pilgrim
A new entry in the Cheeseburger Hall of Fame, a New chain called Wow Burger impressed me with a 4.75 pickle scale score, near the Portland Airport, I think it is one of the best chain burgers around, taking second place only to Smash Burger and Five Guys!

Love that silky water, all shot with the Fuji? I have a question for you Bill. Looking at the rumored Fuji 50-140 2.8, when calculating the 35mm equivalent to this, do you also multiply the f number? So it would be a 75-210 4.2? Do you ever miss the faster glass of your other systems (thinking of the 10-24 f4). I guess that is two questions.
Thanks Rodney, this is a great water shooting location! Yes, all Fuji X-T1. The new 50-140 will be a 75-210 equivalent but the f stop remains the same, F 2.8, and yes I’ planning on getting that one! My Nikon wide angle zoom was the 16-35, and it was an f4 also. I do have some very fast Fui glass whenI need itl; 14 f 2.8, 23 f 1.4, 35 f 1.4 and a the 56 f 1.2, even the 60mm micro is a f 2.4!!
These photos are magnificent. I pray you all have an incredible time and of course, I wish I could be right out there with everyone!!
We are having and incredible time, (your prayers are being answered!!), and we too, wish you were here!
