Introducing the first six books in the new Bill Fortney’s Reliable Guides “Foundation Series”. I want the first volumes to be easy to read, to the point, instructional books for beginners and intermediate photographers, so that they could fully understand the most important basic concepts of the craft. These volumes will vary from 60 to 120 pages each and will illustrate every important point with multiples of photographic examples. As in the illustration below, the basic concept is introduced and then illustrated.
If everything goes according to plan we hope to have the book store open by mid October! Other volumes coming soon are;

Bill I think the Lord is pleased that you never let the grass grow under your feet! You use every talent he gave you for his glory … And I am sure these books will just add to your opportunities to bring people into His Light! Thanks for the inspiration and friendship. As for me I am going out to do some capturing his glory with the little Fuji X you introduced me to last year as I try to share my work at the local art festival!

I’m a public high school teacher, and it looks like the info might be a great help in prepping lessons for the beginning photography classes that I teach. The example page you posted above illustrating focus is a great example of the kinds of things we…um….focus…on in our class. 😉

Bill, I have a question and maybe you have already answeered it somewhere. Is it going to be an IPAD format only or an ebook that all users can access?
Good question, they will all be PDFs which work on either MAC or PC, and can be viewed on iPads
And many tablets!
