Trapped in Acadia!!!!!
Jack and I did some last day scouting this morning and found a great working commercial dock with tons of lobster floats and multicolored ropes! This is the kind of fantastic color you can catch on the Maine coast. It was very overcast with an occasional shower so the light was perfect! I can’t wait to take our students to this location, it will be a great training ground for how to see and compose!!!!
See for yourself!
……and, as luck would have it, we found some more great fall foliage!
Blessings,
the pilgrim

I’m jealous. Haven’t had a day off since got back from amish in Ohio last year. I intend on making up for it next year though. 🙂
Wow Anna, you sure do need to get some time off!!!!
If I’m lucky I’ll get one day off in April for my wedding unless I go crazy by then which is entirely possible at this point. 🙂
I’ll be praying for you!
I love the rich colors and I hope one day to join you in a workshop to learn more about how you capture those colors.
We do it all the time! Fuji X system color, polarizer, overcast days!!!!
A great place to be “trapped,” that is for sure!!
I am recovering from major surgery and am looking forward to getting out and shooting again!
Joe, we will lift you in prayer, hope your recovery is fast and good!!!
Bill, glad you found some color while up in Acadia. I was up there shooting the week before and it was past peak and not very good weather. Do you mind sharing what harbor you guys discovered with the commercial dock? always looking for new places to shoot when I am up there.
