Catch-Up Saturday!
I have found another 5.0 Burger!!! On my way to New York for a Fuji meeting, (more on that later), a friend recommended I give it a try and now I owe you big thanks! Great place, great burger, nice folks that run it! The do it really right, last steel grill, great meat, wonderful bun, I would guess baked there, and nice service! If you get into Lexington, drop by then and go them a try. You can Google them at Bru Burger!
I just returned from a quick trip up to the Fuji headquarters in Valhalla, New York. They asked me to tape some interviews for a film crew from the home office in Japan. We had a great time, and as always I really enjoyed spending time with Justin and the great group at Fuji. As much as I love the Fuji cameras and lenses I value their service and attitude about photogprahers even more. Every time I meet with these great folks they listen, ask relevant questions and take notes. It feels great knowing they are listening to us!!!!
The train is getting ready to leave the station. Next week I will publish next year’s schedule to the big mailing list, I’m really looking forward to seeing some of you next year in-the-field!
Blessings,
the pilgrim

Have you been to Gabbys Burgers and Fries in Nashville? IMHO you have not lived until you’ve had their sweet potato fries with wasabi mayonnaise !
Local beef from just outside of Nashville. Potatoes prepared on the spot, and one of the best veggie burgers around…
Sounds terrific, will check them out1. Thanks!
Finally I’ll be in an area where you have rated a burger. I’ll be at the Mountain Workshops again, this year in Frankfort, just outside of Lexington. Bru Burger here I come!
You’ll enjoy it, say Hi to the Mountain Workshop folks for me, I think Andy from Nikon is there, he is the duty that took over the South for NPS.
Hi Bill
Read your blog every day and enjoy your commentary and photography. I am really looking forward to the opportunity to finally meet you at the Great Smokey Mountain Summit in October. I learned of the Summit on your blog.
Thanks for all you do.
Regards,
Dave
Dave, me too, have appreciated your comments! This Summit is going to be a great opportunity
for all of us to have not only a great learning experience, but wonderful fellowship as well!
Glad you had a great trip, Bill. And thanks for the tip on Bru Burger. My litttle sister lives near Fort Knox with her family, and it’ll be great to surprise her for Christmas with a gift card!
Thinking of renting the new 90mm to try it out for close-up work at the next Hawaiian Fire show I shoot. Do you have any low-light experience with the 90?
I do, quite a lot, it is spectacular!
Cool! Thanks, Bill!
