First Day in Amish Country
Jack and I arrived in Fairlawn, Ohio yesterday afternoon and did our first scouting trip this morning. We were pleased with the ample opportunities we’ve found so far, and will do some more tomorrow. This is a great place to capture color and the wonderful culture of the Amish. Below are some day one images!
More soon!!!! Buggy at top to 7 Up sign all 18-135 on the Fuji X-T1, last several images with 90mm f 2 lens at f 2!!
Blessings,
the pilgrim

Nice Bill! That 18-135 sure is irresistible is it not?
It’s a very handy lens, it also makes you lazy, but then, some days that’s nice!
Some great shots Bill!
Thanks Tom great to have you in Ohio with us!
Shoot me some more of that 16mm 1.4. Sitting here at the house waiting for mine to be delivered! Problem is just too many great choices, and more announced today. My cup runneth over, unfortunately my bank account can’t say the same thing.
Thanks,
Jim Erickson
I know the feeling, but you will love the 16mm f 1.4, I use it a lot!
Great shots Bill. I love colours . Are you using Velvia in a lot of your phophotography? I own an XA1 with the Bayer sensor and I love using Velvia for , especially macro. I’ve been using my XT10 for Autumn colours but sometimes Velvia can make the shots too saturated. I shoot JPEG only
