I was able to pick up the last 100-400 at Dury’s the day it was released. I am AMAZED at the image stabilization. It’s a great lens.

I’ve got the 100-400 on order from B&H – should have it before I see you in Olympic Nat’l Park. I’ve got a handheld shot with the 18mm (no image stabilization – and not a lens I hear anyone raving about) at 1/15 of a second that is beyond tack sharp; I’ll share it with you when I see you. Fuji – what a system!! By the way, that last photo looks like the top half of my face – but I’m not with you in Arches this year (and I don’t have that hat)!! Who’s the impostor??? ☺
