God is Good!!!!!
I just got back from two weeks in the Smokies and two wonderful workshops the last with Jack Graham and our friend Chris Klahpeke. Never laughed so hard and had so much fun. I never cease to be amazed at how wonderful the people are that God places in my life!!! the internet service down in Townsend is pretty awful so I couldn’t get a blog post out and was pretty exhausted when I got home Sunday. So sorry for being AWOL! I continue to really enjoy the Fuji X-PRO 2 and am amazed at how nice the files are coming out of it. Makes all future hopes for the X System all the more exciting! I will share some of my favorite images of the two weeks, and don;t be surprised that a number are monochrome, the new ACROS film simulation is stunning, all these images are straight out of the camera jpegs!!!
I hope something here inspires you or makes you want to get out and do some shooting! I’m blessed! Pray you are too!
Blessings in Him,
the pilgrim

Just love the second shot in the series here. That Monochrome is gorgeous! I love the misty look in the background.
Was a great foggy day!
Two thumbs up on the wildlife shot (fence jumper). Course all the rest are great too. Glad you had a wonderful trip. Was kinda missing the regular blog posts but now I know what happened. See ya soon.
Glad to be back!
As usual wonderful images of a place where God blessed us with a wonderful place to visit and enjoy. Can’t say I have a favorite they all want me to pack the camper and drive the 4 hours to Townsend.
Good place to go!
It’s good to see you back and doing well.
With the shot of the fence jumper shows what the camera can do. I may have to rethink my DSLR before getting more camera specific accessories. Love the scripture shot and the church interior.
Oops… The first sentence should be “It’s good to see you’re back and doing well.” (I think I need a good editor.)
Thanks David, good to be back in the saddle!
If the water will just flow over that rock in the fall….. just one time is all I ask. Now back to photographing those Hill Country wildflowers which have been pretty good so far. Bill, Paintbrushes have blown away the Bluebonnets this year with huge displays everywhere.
Johnny – I was down in Austin two weeks ago and got to take a drive up to Llano. You’re right, the paintbrushes were out in force this year! Thanks to guidance from your friend Rich Olivera’s Texas Wildflower Report, I found some good spots to shoot. Just wish I’d had more time. [I did get the treat of some extra good BBQ at Cooper’s in Llano!] From your photos on your Smugmug site, it looks like you’re having a good year!
Good to hear from both of you Richard and Johnny!
I’ll see you in 20 days, my friend!
Wish I could bed there with you!
Absolutely gorgeous images, Bill. Where is the lane with the fence and trees? Just love it.
It was such a wonderful week! We really enjoyed spending time with you and Jack. Beautiful images Bill!
