50 degrees vs 82 degrees, I sure miss Aruba!!!! But, it’s great to be home, and I can’t wait to see all my brothers and sisters at Southwestern Photojournalism Conference in Nashville late this week!
Got out yesterday to try the DJI gogles and man is that a trip, it puts you in the drone, just like when I flew the ultra light except, your not risking your life! I found a nice local road with bare trees to try to craft a composition!
Joy Behart on the View, (not sure if I spelled her name right and frankly could care less), said of VP Mike Pence, “that it’s one thing to talk to Jesus, but to say He talks to you!!!!???? Well sister, He does talk to us, wish for your sake, you knew that for yourself……

In all fairness to Joy B, it can be rather presumptuous to claim that God spoke to you. God can “speak” to people. But many people claim that God has spoken to them, and He has not. People have used that as a reason for centuries to do all sorts of very ungodly stuff.
The fact that Pence claims it does not make it true. And given his support for Trump, one of the most ungodly men to ever occupy the office of the Presidency, once has to wonder.
Confused about what you are trsing to express so I will just say, everyone is certainly free to feel as they wish, and on the Trump stuff, we can simply agree to to have a gentlemen’s difference of opinion.

Hey Bill…Am down at Jekyll Island trying to photograph Driftwood beach..Mandy Lea had posted some awesome photos and I wanted to try some myself here…anyway the tides and sunrises and sunset times are working against me but it has been a learning experience…anyway…One morning a photographer that got up early too had a Maverick air and it was cool watching him fly it around and….I don’t know…starting to get the juices….and Joy B…..people like her with so much hate….how do you deal with that….I struggle with that….and Wade…God does speak to people…in many different ways…if I were you I would start to listen…it is a much more rewarding life…with the promise of eternal life WITH the Father of our existence than a life of being alone and living eternity separated from the creator of the universe and the creator of ourselves….
Rodney: I never doubted that God can speak to people in many different ways…only that just because one person claims that God spoke to them, does not make it so. Many claim that God speaks to them in error or fraud.
As to Joy B…I really don’t care what she said. I don’t watch the show or pay attention to her at all. I will quote Charles Pierce: “Founder said gates of hell will not prevail against his people. Not worried about Joy Behar.”
I think in general Christians do themselves no favor by playing the victim. Paul faced far worse with joy and optimism.
The Mavic Pro II is rumored to be coming in March or April, I’m certainly looking to see what it is like!
On another note…I was wondering what you, Bill, thought of the new Fuji X-H1 camera?
I was wondering that too. Thinking of finally switching from Nikon to Fuji and trying to decide between X-T2 and X-H1
I saw one a few weeks before it was announcd, but only go to hold it and look it over. I like the in camera stabilization and Jack shot it in Japan two weeks ago and he is very impressed, so I guess we both will pick on up. We talked it over and both feel if we are going to be out tewachign the Fuji X System, we need to be familiar with it. It is a mucb better video capabe camera, I expect to have one in time for Route 66 so I will give a full user review after that trip.
My guess is the Fuji X-H1 will be the route to go!
