Pike’s Market, Seattle…..

12 years, 11 months ago 7

Today we got to visit Pike’s Market in downtown Seattle and really enjoyed just walking around with Mark and Veronica (above) and seeing the sites.  We went to the Seattle Antique Mall, the Pike’s Fish Market, (if you’ve ever watched the Food Channel, you’ve seen them tossing the fish back and forth!), and enjoyed the artisans and the great food.  It was a fun day of just enjoying a great city and it’s people.  I dropped by the first Starbucks and bought some fun things for my kids Christmas stockings, yes I start early!  Anyway Mark Kettenhofen has been more than a co worker, and more than a friend, we’ve seen a ton of great adventures together including doing the second America From 500 Feet book as a team.  It was fitting and real gift from God that I would be teamed with him for my last major assignment for Nikon!

I also really enjoyed just doing some fun shooting of a eclectic set of subjects, hope you enjoy them!  The image below was a bear in a chocolate shop I had to pose with, thank’s Mark for capturing two pudgy bears!

The famous Seattle gum wall, below!

I may be closing a chapter of my life, by “Any time” with Mark is always welcome!!!!

Thank you Lord for the countless blessings of this life, especially a friend like Mark!

  3. I’m really impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare to see a great blog like this one today.
