It’s not easy being green……..
Chasing color in the Olympic Peninsula is not easy,up at 3:30 a.m. head hitting the pillow at 10:00 p.m.! But the rewards are great! This group have been troopers! We went yesterday and this morning over in the Forks area and some of the close-up opportunities in the Hoh Rain Forest were spectacular! Hope you enjoy this sampling……
Rich color, great times, it’s hard to beat!

Those moss-covered trees are incredible! If I were there, I’m not sure you could have gotten me to move. In fact, I might have gotten lost and you all would have had to find me 🙂 I am loving all your sharing here – it’s a total adventure! I think I’m getting more sleep than all of you however 🙂
We miss you, but sleep is good!!!!
Amazing images, Bill. Do you set your Picture Control on Vivid for occasions like this? Thank you.
Yes, but you have to be careful as it can overcook the file!

Wow Bill! I love this post. Those green are so beautiful. Are these with the 55-300? I absolutely love the water droplet shot….gorgeous. I know you’re having a great time!
Actually, most were the 60mm Micro.
Bill, Those are amazing shots. I really love the color. And to see your eye for patterns. Travel safe my friend.
I will, hope to see you one of these days, missing you guys already, and I’m not gone yet!
Absolutely beautiful images. Marlene said she would love to have a few of these for our home! That is pretty high praise Bill. I agree, you capture God’s handiwork like few can.
Why would she want mine, she has yours!!!!
I am always impressed with the variety of green when looking up at the mountains in southern Appalachia in the spring. It boggles the mind. What a Creator we serve.
