When sleeping in is a bad idea!!!!!
At week long workshops the days get long! If you decide to sleep in, this could happen! So you don’t sleep in!! This morning our group went to Many Glacier and caught spectacular light on Mount Grinnell. It was cold and little windy, but well worth any pain! Walking down to the national park lodge, just to the right out of the frame above, for breakfast I turned and looked back up the hill and got a great surprise, on of our student walking along the ridge in silhouette!
Thanks Joel, you afforded a great shot opportunity!! With every step we found fun things to photograph and I love sharing them with you guys!!!
Blessings,
the pilgrim

I’m enjoying your amazing photos from the workshop! Keep them coming Grandpa!!!
Will do!
I’m just curious, Bill. Do you recall the camera settings for the sensational image of Mt. Grinnell above? It is truly a beautiful shot. Thanks.
ISO 400. F16 off tripod.
Simply beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Looks like a great time!
Bill, you should put a direct link to http://hislightworkshops.com/ on your billfortney.com page. It took me a while to find the actual homepage for the workshops.
I will!
