Shelter!  As the weather turns cold, it is so nice to have a safe warm place to stay!  This is the week of Thanksgiving and these little wooden bird houses reminds me that we all need shelter!  I hope you are all sheltering in place and getting ready to spend Thanksgiving with people you love and that love you!

I cheated today!  I pulled a photo out of the files that one of our attendees shot of Jack and I clowning around at Nelson Ghost Town!  The photo made me smile and reminded me of all the great times Jack and I have had over the last dozen years leading workshops together!  The thing I miss the most about running workshops is the great fellowship with our attendees and each other!  Taking photographs and teaching others how to do so is a joy filled experience, but it’s all about the people!

 

As a servant of our Lord, that is what He wants our lives to be mostly about!  If we really want people to want to know Jesus, we must first show them what His love looks like!

Jack would say this is not black and white, but monochrome, and he’s right!  Even the areas that are pure black have detail!  I love trying to make images with subtle details and this steam engine in my home town is a perfect subject to try and hone your craft.

Tony Rogers came by today and we processed some of his work from the Tour along the Coast of Maine with Kirk Williamson!  I was so proud of his work that I wanted to share some with you guys!  He has made great progress and it really showed from his trip, I hope you enjoy these images as ch as I did!  Special thanks to Jack Graham, Kirk Williamson and Jim Haverstock who have been helping me work with Tony!
