According to Fuji Rumors at 11:30 p.m. tonight a flurry of new products will be announced. For the past several weeks I’ve been using one of the products to be announced.  I can’t tell you which one, I can tell you that it is one of the most exciting things I’ve seen come from Fuji yet.  So please join me after 11:30 p.m. for all the fun!

Blessings,

Hmmm. I suspect you’ve been using the XPro-2 but I hope it is the 100-400. 🙂 I’m anxious to read how this lens performs relative to the latest versions of this lens from Canikon. If I’m lucky enough to be wrong and you are using the 100-400, I hope I will be even luckier and find out that you’ve had a chance to try it with the 1.4x TC. See you at 11:30pm!

Oh wow! We can only hope it is the much awaited 100-400 and you have nothing but great things to say about it. I have been using a Sigma 400mm f5.6 MF while waiting for it to be released. As much as I am looking forward to the new lenses I will have to,say the Siggy is doing a pretty good job during the wait. I will be listening at 11:30.

I was hoping for a report on the XPRO-2 myself…after you hooked me on this system I still look here first for some real world truth assessments on the marketing campaigns….

Just hoping this is a next gen 24mp sensor not the two year old one….should be a stop improvement if Sony keeps it in line with the new 1″…but more importantl to me than the stop is more dynamic range and autofocus for active kids…. That will help me shooting events in churches and my kiddos at the same time!
    Cheers

Well, I’ve read about 20 reviews of the new Pro2 hoping to read yours but haven’t seen it yet. Hope you got to test it out. If you did can you tell us what bracketing modes are available? Haven’t read anything about it yet. Specifically, with the new exposure compensation of -5 to +5, what does this mean for HDR shooting? Looking for to reading your reviews.
    Thanks my friend,

I will be doing a review soon, I was not on the first list, but then I’m not a street shooter so I didn’t expect to be, but will have one soon. As to bracketing I think they have elevated the bracketing to + or – 2 stops, which is less than I had hoped for, but it would be a lot better than 1 stop either way!
