The Perfect Storm……

Maybe if you were living in New York or Washington and got 33 inches, or if you were stranded on one of the Eastern U.S. interstate highways. or stuck in an airport somewhere, you don’t think so!  So why do I?  Well it trapped me at the house, not really, but I played it that way, with my bride for three glorious days.  It was beautiful to photograph and it forced me to start the process of cleaning my office, and trust me you don’t want me to go into that, but needless to say it was way, way over do!!!!

I finally got to this morning to take Sherelene back to work, her clinic had been closed for three straight days and it was great to have that time with her!

My humble abode in Corbin, KY!

Not meant to be art,  just sharing the joy of heavy snow!

Blessings,

I had planned to go out to take some pictures today myself. But the boys and I just finished clearing the driveway of 30″ of snow. I thanked God for my neighbor with his snowblower on his tractor. Made our work a few hours shorter. Now I am too tired to go out, plus I may not get anywhere since they are still clearing roads around me. Guess we will just have to stay in and watch some football.

    Hi Bill,
As you know I live in upstate New York. we usually get a lot of snow either from the great lakes or Canada. By this time last year I think I plowed the driveway 17 times. But this time, not even flurries. The storm was 3 1/2 Hrs east of us. Thank you Jesus 🙂

    Hi Bill:
Did you lose power at all?

  4. Bill Fortney says:

No, we never did, but kept a roaring fire just in case!

  5. In Wisconsin and Minnesota we just call it “winter!” 🙂

OK, seriously. It would be a big snowfall here as well (two feet) but some roads would be open and all would be within a day or less with schools maybe closed one day and I may be a little late into the office. The second day would be used to “clean up” the roads.
