Thank you so very much!!!!!!

In air war terms, I swept in low, with guns a blazin’!!!  In real terms, your prayers were answered, and God provided me a wonderful victory today in my first appearance at Photoshop World!  I hate using the expression when it applies to me, but the Holy Spirit, you, and I knocked one out of the park today.  I was very pleased with the audience response for my first of three talks.  As I had suggested earlier, Jim and I want our ministry to grow in effectiveness for Him, and today certainly was a good step forward.

The program that I presented today was one I’ve worked on for some time and I feel I will be using it a number of other venues over the coming months.  It was a new arrangement of the old theme that I have taught for years from the David Middleton notebook!  Subject, Light, Compositions, and Conditions, to which I’ve added, learn to use the gear you have….

I can’t thank you enough for being for me there in prayer.  I am never nervous about doing talks, I love to present, but I felt the weight of the importance of this one.  I owe you and I really owe Him, but then I already owed Him everything!!!!

Blessings,

the pilgrim

    Hey Bill,
I’m sorry, I’m just now catching up on your blog visit, and I am sorry I missed out on praying for you this week. You’ll have my prayers and thoughts from this day on. God bless what you and Jim have planned! I hope to experience some of it in the future. So joyous that your week has been blessed. But then…..He’s got your back! But then….you’ve been called, I’m also excited about Jasper prints!!

May He be with you this week!!

Hi Bill! I’m here at Photoshop World and I attended your Photographic Vision class! I really appreciate your willingness to share your faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ! Too many people – myself included – are too willing to let our faith be in the background and not openly share about it. You mentioned that you are a Christian in this class and I REALLY appreciate it! You are a wonderful speaker, you did a very good job yesterday! I just wanted to say thank you for your willingness to share your photography expertise with us, but most of all I want to say thank you for openly sharing your faith. You’re a great role model, I’m going to work on being more open in my faith!

    Found this with google:
    ca·coph·o·ny
    /kəˈkäfənē/
    Noun
A harsh, discordant mixture of sounds: “a cacophony of deafening alarm bells”; “a cacophony of architectural styles”
Looking forward to seeing you and pray the Lord will use you each day this week in a very special way to share Jesus Christ.

    Mr. Fortney,

Thanks you for sharing your vision and your faith at photoshop world, you are truly a disciple of our loving Lord.

I talked to you after Friday’s morning class. I was the one who asked if you were a pilot in the military and you shared that you were a navigator in Vietnam. I wanted to talk with you more, but felt that others needed their time with you and I knew that I could contact you on line. My husband and I travel America with a 3/5th scale replica of the Vietnam Wall and we are going to be in Pikesville, Kentucky on July 3-7th at the Pikesville Soccer Complex. I have the honor of taking pictures, which as you know, can be very emotional in that environment, but God always helps me get thru. If you are interested in coming to see the Wall in Pikesville, the web site is http://www.travelingwall.us.

Maybe you can come to the event? It would be an honor to talk with you again.

    God Bless,
    Maureen
