Have a plan!
You have to have a plan! I have an upcoming trip, one I have been so excited about taking, but I would not consider even starting the car, without a plan! The map above is just wallpaper to make a more important point! Where I’m driving to, the hours on the road, and milage are of little importance to you, but what I will say next is!
PLAN
noun
a plan for raising money: procedure, scheme, strategy, idea, proposal, proposition, suggestion, action point; project, program, system, method, stratagem, formula, recipe; way, means, measure, tactic.
Let me pull one word out of this loose definition, Strategy! You have to have, you need, your success depends on, a strategy! As a Christian I have a strategy, trust God! My Heavenly Father has not only promised to watch over me, He has! Non believers will say, “then you don’t do anything and just sit here waiting on God?” Not hardly. I trust in Him, I also know that He works best when I’m on top of my game, and moving in the direction he has laid out before me. I’m big on developing a detailed plan, but I know He can interrupt it anytime, when “He” has a better plan.
So why plan? Because you need to know what your mission is. You see, mine is to go and do, and enjoy this life, and along the way, share His love. Offer help, a smile, and encouraging word, something that was not there before! It’s not hard, but you have to be committed! I’m not a lot of things I should be, but I am committed to a higher cause, purpose and goal!
Now, I can’t wait to get out there and start spreading His Good News, and take some images!!!!! Maybe even some good ones!!!
Blessings,
the pilgrim
Tomorrow I take my bride for a well deserved week in Florida, for some rest. When I return it’s on to the big photo adventure!

Bill your coming right thur my hometown, love to meet you or buy you a burger, Rt 66 in right down the hill from my house and know a few good places to shoot. Have extra bed also. If it happens to be on Sunday come to church with me. Our new church building is right on RT 66.
Waynesville, Pulaski county, Missouri
Will e-mail you my cell phone number.
Please do, would at least like to get a hug!!!
Waynesville??? OMG — I remember that from Fort Lost In The Woods, Misery!
Seriously, the people who do not trust God will likely continue tilting at windmills. Enjoy Florida.
Fort Lost in the Wood, anyone who did basic training here has a bad impression. This is a beautiful part of the Ozarks, You probably didn’t get to see any of it while going through basic.
My time there was in spring so it wasn’t so bad…and it beat Fort Puke, Louisiana. We got to see some of the area. I was in a company run by Mormons and we were treated fairly well. We were encouraged to go to more positive environs when we had leave (such as Kansas City, St. Louis or Springfield). And if you knew how to time your lunch you could eat at the hospital dining room.
Thanks Dick!
Have a safe trip to Florida Bill!
Thanks Peanut!!!! Thank your Dad he was really nice!
I will!
Hello Brother Bill, as I sit here looking out at over a foot of snow and more possibly on the horizon, then flooding when it melts, I just wanted to tell you all “I hate you and hope you both get sunburned!” Now I feel better that I got that off my chest. Otherwise have a great trip! 😉
Homer
Sherelene tans, I will probably burn! Love you brother!
Bill, I know you are usually further south but if you want a great shooting opportunity go to the Starfish Company in Cortez, & the Sea Hagg (Bradenton). There is also the Venice Rookery in Venice. I was there last week and there were quite a few nests but bad weather so the birds were hunkered down. Enjoy your stay!!
Thanks Joe I will check those out, I love the Venice Rookery, glad to hear it has birds again!
I forgot to mention, don’t know how long you will be here but Clyde Butcher is giving a talk at the Burns Curt Theater in Sarasota on March 14th.
Thanks, I’ll be back home by then, but I know Clyde and hate to miss that!
