Day Thirteen’s Image

Today I decided to do a  studio type shot.  On my desk sits a Shure 55SH microphone.  This was the same classic mic used by so many famous singers of years past including Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Elvis and at the Beatles!  I love music and it reminds me of that love and enjoyment whenI’m working at my desk and see the microphone!

Photography Post -Mortem:  Shot with the X-T5, and the Fujifilm XF80mm f 2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro lens.  1/25th of a second at f 2.8  @ ISO 250.  I placed a sheet of red construction paper behind the mic for a color splash to the background.

I hope you think of this marvelous invention that captured so much great music for us, the next time you’re listening to a famous artists of that period!

Blessings,
