Day Fifteen’s Image
Aging wood is amazing! The effects of exposure to water and light make all the difference in how it shows it’s aging process. An old part barn building along the Cumberland Falls Highway is home to the Falls Road Custom Lumber Company. I found a couple of images of the aging wood and and old truck that all seemed made to be shot together.
Photography Post-Mortem: Both wood shots X-T5 with the XF 80mm f 2.8 R IS Macro lens set at F8 shot at 1/100th of a second @ISO 800. Truck shot same lens at 1/320th of a second and f 5.6 @ ISO 800.
In case you were wondering if I have forgotten the one frame a day thing, I just always post that frame first and then if I have supporting images I think you might enjoy I add them, but I’m still only doing one main image. I’m fortunate to live in the sticks, where old trucks, cars, and old barns are plentiful!
Blessings,
the pilgrim

Bill, you bet we enjoy a multitude of shots on your “subject of the day.” It all makes for an outstanding lesson on how you view and approach the subject. This is a month of fun and an excellent learning experience for all of us. Thank you!
Thank you Ron, for joining me!
