Day Eighteen’s Image
This is my shot for the day! It is one of my favorite sights in all the world, decending to land and looking down at that runway! I couldn’t have made this shot without the kindness of my Doctor and good friend, Paul Pedersen! Paul is wonderful pilot and he knows how much I have been missing getting into the air! So he and his wife Anne flew down to the Williamsburg airport today to pick me up. Anne got out and worked on charts, she is a physical therapist, and let Paul and I play around in the sky for a while! What a wonderful flight we had! We flew down to Norris Lake in Tennessee and around and then back to Williamsburg. Wow, I really enjoyed getting back in the air, thanks again Paul for great flight! I love his plane, a Gruman American Trainer, it is solid and he flys it well! Can’t thank you enough!
Flying over Norris Lake.
Paul landing at Williamsburg to pick me up.
Grown men being little boys in the sky!
Thank you again Paul and Anne for a great afternoon!
Photography Post-Mortem: All images withy iPhone, no room for a big camera in the tight cockpit! Reminds you of just how capable these new smart phones are!
Blessings,
the pilgrim

I really enjoyed the day with you Bill. We will have to take to the skies again soon. Paul
Me too, really was great to get back in the sky! Thank you again!
I use to fly also Bill…know the feeling..living now vicariously through YouTube…just can’t snap a cool photo like that through the internet (not yet anyway lol)…Good day with a good friend! Thanks for sharing.
You know the addiction well! “Having once flown you are never as happy standing on the ground!”
