Favorite Photographers Week: Jack Graham
When I think of Jack Graham, photographically, I think of the “Decisive Moment”! In all my years of working with and teaching with Jack I have seen this consistent pattern in his approach, he strives to be on location at the decisive moment. I can remember many a morning sitting in the pitch black dark, to be sure we are there if and when it happens! More than often it has paid dividends! The shot above of the wild horses in Iceland is a perfect example of his “at the perfect moment” timing! Whether it is the perfect season, perfect light or action of the wildlife, Jack is a master!
I’ve been blessed to be his partner on so many great adventures!

My decisive moment was in the early 90’s in Yosemite NP when I ran into a guy named Bill Fortney. Great American Photography Weekend? Who know.. turned out to change my life in more ways then photography!
Love ya man!

Right back at you my friend and brother. Our path has been filled with lots of great times and very meaningful growth, for both of us! You’re a great friend and partner in crime, well…… not actual crime!
I’ve always wanted to know more about that beautiful horse photo. Can’t begin to tell you how much I have learned from Jack….
I agree Rodney, he is great teacher and mentor.
Wow…I love this set of reviews. It is like visiting a gallery for inspiration.
Thank you that was my hope!
