Day 3: Winter Project
Before I write this blog entry, I need to make it clear that I’m far from a perfect husband, some days I’m not even a good husband! I am trying to be a great husband and along the the way I’ve learned a few things I would like to share with other men that want to do better! Emphasis on “I’m trying!”
Now….having said that, I really love my wife and I do want to be a “Great” husband! I read in a book, many years ago, how to have a great marriage, one suggestion was to never stop dating your wife, treat her like you’re still trying to impress her even after years of being together, when you know you can’t fool her any more!
I tell my wife constantly that I love her, how proud I am of her, how beautiful she looks when she dresses up to go to work or to church, or anywhere! I buy her fresh flowers to decorate her bathroom (below) every week I’m home, which now, is most of the time! I found this sign (above) and put it in our kitchen for all the world to see! I’m pretty sure people know it’s about her, not me! I do a lot of things to express my love and now, almost 55 years later, she is still here!!!!……and that’s a great thing!
So, I hope that encouraged you to let your wife know how much you love and appreciate her! I’m sure you already do, but……just in case!
Blessings,
the pilgrim

Well said. I had a spiritual advisor remind me the first thing you need to thank God for when you open your eyes is my wife. Been doing it everyday, and sometimes in the wee hours of the morning…I’ll just stop and pray I become the man she needs me to be.
She needs to answer that, but for the record, I think you are! By-the-way the G9 rules!
Yes sir…one good photo machine!
