Chasing color in the Olympic Peninsula is not easy,up at 3:30 a.m. head hitting the pillow at 10:00 p.m.! But the rewards are great! This group have been troopers! We went yesterday and this morning over in the Forks area and some of the close-up opportunities in the Hoh Rain Forest were spectacular! Hope you enjoy this sampling……

Well, we are half way through the tour/workshop and we are two things, thrilled and beat. This is a tough tour with 3:00 a.m. wake up calls and 11:00 p.m. back to sleep. Even with daytime naps its tough, but the scenery and the company have been wonderful! This is a; great group of folks, and we are seeing some fantastic scenes. I thought since i’ve been on the run and not shown much of the work, I would share a little best of, so far. We covered the Palouse in the the past few posts so now it’s on to Mount Rainier and Olympic N.P.! Here are a few of my favorites!

On the way from the Palouse to Mount Rainier, we googled “the best burger in Ellenburg.” What we got was the best burger in America yet!!! Williams Campus U- Tote-Um was a killer stop for our group and the burger got a record 4.96 score! The people were great the burger was seasoned and cooked to perfection and the great company made it all even better! So congratulations to the Williams family, this is my new top burger!
I really enjoyed meeting Brian of the family and loved is potato salad too…. If you are ever in Ellenburg, you have to give these folks a try!!!
This is the number one!
